05 Dimension

Ultrafine or fine fibers are generally two-dimensional fibers. Three dimensional cotton, that is, the crimp of fiber is formed in three dimensional space, and a single fiber is helical. The latter is curly and compact, not easy to deform, and has better elasticity, feel and comfort. In addition to superfine or fine fibers, medium and coarse fibers can be made into three-dimensional fibers.
06 Length
It can be divided into short, medium and long fibers. The length of short fiber is 2.5-3.4cm; The length of medium fiber is 3.4-6.4cm; The length of long fiber is more than 6.4cm. The length of products used for silk like fillers can reach several meters.
07 Finishing
It can be divided into silicon and non silicon finishing. There are fibers finished with silicon, which feel soft and smooth; And vice versa. Generally, silicon and silicon free products are mixed and used, which can better combine the softness and fluffy of the product, and improve the use value of the final product.
08 Function
It can be divided into antibacterial and flame retardant fibers. First, all kinds of antibacterial and flame retardants are uniformly dispersed in the matrix resin to form a concentrate, namely master batch. After a certain amount of master batch and corresponding resin particles are mixed, the fiber with flame retardant and antibacterial effects on the surface can be prepared according to the fiber processing and molding method.
09 Brand
An enterprise has a high reputation for focusing on the production of polyester fiber, and the common name of its fiber is consistent with its brand. For example, DuPont cotton is the brand name of DuPont. DuPont cotton is a generic term for the polyester fiber produced by DuPont, which usually refers to three-dimensional four hole cotton and three-dimensional seven hole cotton.

All the above fibers have their own advantages in terms of performance, price, production and maintenance. Through the above simple classification, the basic characteristics and principles of various single fibers are preliminarily clarified.
